Secure and dignified livelihoods are essential for sustainable and self-reliant communities. Our approach to livelihoods is rooted in ecological balance, traditional knowledge and collective well-being.

We work to increase whole-farm productivity through agro-ecological practices that nurture the land while enhancing food and income security. Through sustainable forest management, communities are empowered to protect, manage and regenerate forests while benefiting from the forest produce.

We promote ethno-veterinary practices to strengthen local animal husbandry especially poultry and goatery improving both nutrition and household incomes. Our efforts also focus on development of producer & consumer friendly alternative markets that are fair, exploitation free and beneficial for both producers and consumers.

Importantly, we encourage sharing and caring practices within communities, developing solidarity, mutual help and resilience. For us, livelihood is not just about income, it’s about restoring dignity, deepening relationships with nature and building community’s collective strength.
